YouTube extends its Partner Programme to the UK

YouTubeYou Tube, the web's leading video sharing site, has extended its Partner Programme to the UK, allowing video creators and media companies to share its ad revenue.

Launched last December, and initially available only to residents of the USA and Canada, the YouTube Partner Programme now allows anyone in the UK who own the copyright to original video material to upload it to YouTube and then share in any advertising revenue generated.

YouTube does not require exclusivity, leaving you free to distribute your videos elsewhere too.
